Heritage Tourism

Terms of Use

Pilot terms for the Heritage Tourism SME Dashboard. Last updated 18 July 2026.

The platform

This platform connects visitors with South African heritage tourism SMEs for discovering, booking and reviewing experiences, and provides SMEs with operational tools (bookings, marketing, funding leads, compliance tracking, sustainability reporting). It is currently a pilot; features and data may change.

Bookings, payments & tickets

A booking is confirmed only once payment is confirmed — online via PayFast, or manually by the business for other payment methods. Tickets are personal QR codes; entry is at the business's discretion if a ticket has already been checked in or voided. Cancellations release your reserved spots; refund arrangements are between you and the business.

Your content

Reviews may only be written for bookings you actually made, and must be honest and lawful. Business listings, promotions and job posts must be accurate. We may hide, archive or suspend content and accounts that break these rules; moderation actions are logged.

Guidance is not advice

Funding leads and compliance checklists are general reference information, not financial or legal advice — confirm requirements with the relevant authority or a qualified professional. Promotions advertised by businesses (including promo codes) are honoured by the business, not the platform.

Accounts & privacy

Keep your login credentials private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Personal information is handled per our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Experiences are provided by the listed businesses, not the platform. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for the conduct of businesses or visitors, or for loss arising from use of this pilot service.
